Village of Hope is a group of 6 cabins (with plans for 6 more) that are part of a 50+ acre private Christian camp in the Ozark Hills just outside of Ava, Missouri. Each of the cabins can be rented individually or, for larger groups, all 6 cabins can be rented with complimentary use of the kitchen and dining area in the ministry directors’ residence and meeting room adjacent to the office. The rental of all 6 cabins works great for church retreats, family reunions, family gatherings, and/or business retreats! Church retreats and family reunions are particularly welcome and encouraged!
The environment at Village of Hope is very peaceful and quiet while being surrounded by nature. The ministry director and his family live on the grounds, but the cabins are some distance away and provide for considerable peace and privacy.
Direct on-line booking for all 6 cabins or for each of the individual cabins is available on the corresponding webpage on this site.

All of the cabins have been built since 2011 and they all have modern amenities including electricity, hot water, a toilet, a shower, a sink, a mirror, a microwave, a mini refrigerator, both heating and air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The cabins are built with a cute and fun "hillbilly style" to provide guests with a comfortable, fun, and unique regional experience. They are truly a very cute, unique, and comfortable mix of "hillbilly style" with modern amenities! The cabins are located about 250 feet down a wide gravel foot path from the parking area, so there is a short walk to the cabins from the parking area. The cabins help tourists to get a real and authentic sense of the region and its "hillbilly heritage" while enjoying the peaceful and pristine beauty of the Ozarks!
Each of the cabins have their own unique style! Four of the cabins (#1, #5, #10, and #12) have bedrooms and the other two (#9 and #11) are "studio cabins". Each cabin has its own private bathroom with a toilet and either a shower or a bathtub/shower combination. Cabins #1 and #5 each have a combination bathtub/shower and the other 4 cabins (#9, #10, #11, and #12) have showers. Cabin #11 is explicitly set-up to be wheelchair accessible. (Note: Cabin #11 is wheelchair-accessible but does still require guests to move approx. 250 feet from the parking area to get to the cabin.) All of the cabins have a small "kitchenette" in them that consists of a sink, countertop, mirror, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and coffee maker. (Note that sinks and mirrors are not included in the bathrooms.) Ground coffee and filters are provided as well! Each of the cabins also has a small dining table and 2 or more chairs.
The cabins are built on a beautiful hillside on part of the 50+acre grounds of Teen Harvest Youth Ranch, a Christian ministry for families. The cabins are used for family ministry but are offered for rent on days when they are not in use for ministry. The rental of the cabins helps to financially support the wonderful ministry of Teen Harvest Youth Ranch. All of the cabins are filled with Christian artwork and Christian decorations. As the cabins are part of a Christian camp, alcohol consumption is not permitted anywhere on the property. Smoking is only permitted at the firepit or in your own vehicle. Smoking in or near the cabins is definitely not permitted.
The rental of any cabin allows guests to also use other items on the grounds including the new children's playground, outdoor firepit, outdoor picnic table, outdoor basketball court, and indoor game/fitness room in the basement of the ministry directors’ residence. Guests are welcome to read books or watch movies in the library. All books and movies must be returned before checkout. To use the theater screen in the library, or to choose a movie, please see the hosts. Guests are also welcomed to hike and explore the 50+ acre property. Responsible adult supervision is required for all minor children. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer upstairs in the ministry directors’ residence on the property, depending upon availability, on a donation basis.

Check-out prior to 11:00 AM is particularly important as our cleaning personnel normally start cleaning the house promptly at 11:00 AM upon the day of check-out. For check-in, we check-in all guests in-person. If check-in in-person is an issue, we would politely ask that you book elsewhere.

Kitchen and Dining Room Usage: Arrangements must be made in advance in terms of kitchen and dining room usage, particularly in terms of specifying the times that this room will need to be used.
Kitchen Supplies and Dining: We provide a basic supply of cooking and dining utensils for guests to use. This includes a coffee maker, toaster, salt, and pepper. Please wash tables, counters and any dishes that have been used prior to departure.

Please fully extinguish all bonfires with water when done.
